How to use this calculator
- Enter your monthly compensation. Most employers use basic pay; some include regular allowances.
- See your share, your employer’s, and the split between regular SS and MPF.
How it’s computed
Your compensation is rounded to the nearest ₱500.00 MSC, between ₱5,000.00 and ₱35,000.00.
You pay 5% of the MSC and your employer pays 10%, plus EC of ₱10.00 (MSC below ₱15,000.00) or ₱30.00.
The first ₱20,000.00 of MSC funds your regular SS benefits; the rest goes to your MPF account.
Example
Ana earns ₱25,000.00 a month.
- MSC: ₱25,000.00. She pays ₱1,250.00; her employer pays ₱2,500.00 plus ₱30.00 EC.
- ₱5,000.00 of her MSC is above the ₱20,000.00 line, so ₱750.00 a month goes to her MPF savings.
- Total remitted: ₱3,780.00.
