How to use this calculator
- Enter your current grade and how much of the course it covers.
- Enter the final grade you want. The result is the score you need on everything that’s left.
How it’s computed
Needed = (target − current × weight done) ÷ weight remaining.
Example
You have 82% with 60% of the course graded and want 85%.
- (85 − 82 × 0.6) ÷ 0.4 = 89.5% on the remaining work.
Frequently asked questions
What is “weight completed”?
How much of the final grade is already graded. If quizzes, projects and the midterm are worth 60% of the grade and the final exam 40%, you have completed 60%.
My school uses 1.00 to 5.00. Does this work?
Work in percentages, then convert using your school’s table. Most schools compute in percent first and convert at the end.
What if I need more than 100%?
Then the target can’t be reached with the remaining work alone. Aim for the highest grade still possible, shown as “If you get 100% on the rest”.
How do I find my current grade?
Average your graded components using their weights. The Final Grade Calculator does this for DepEd subjects.
