Your term grade84

How to use this calculator

  1. Pick the subject group, then enter your percentage score for each component.
  2. Read your initial grade, the transmuted term grade, and its descriptor.

How it’s computed

Exam score = summative test 1 × 30% + summative test 2 × 30% + term exam × 40%.

Initial grade = written works × weight + performance tasks × weight + exam score × weight. The term grade comes from the transmutation table.

  • DepEd grading, effective 2026-06-01. Secondary verification (published summaries of the order). Adjusted transmutation applies to SY 2026–2027 only; from SY 2027–2028 Grades 4–12 use zero-based grading with no transmutation. Add that rule here once the school-year start date is set. Grade 12 learners still on the old SHS curriculum use DO 8 s.2015 weights. Frequently asked questions

What changed in 2026?

DepEd Order 15 s. 2026 replaced quarters with terms, changed the component weights, and split exams into two summative tests and a term exam. For SY 2026–2027 an adjusted transmutation table turns an initial grade of 70 into the passing 75. From SY 2027–2028, Grades 4 to 12 move to zero-based grading with no transmutation.

How do I get my percentage score for a component?

Add up your raw scores and divide by the total possible points, times 100. For example, 42 out of 50 in all written works is 84%.

How is my final grade for the year computed?

Each term grade is rounded to a whole number, then the final grade is the average of the term grades, rounded to a whole number. Passing is 75.

Does this work for Grade 12 on the old curriculum or Grades 2–3?

Grade 12 learners still on the old senior high curriculum use the DO 8 s. 2015 weights with the adjusted table, and Grades 2–3 have their own weights. Use this calculator as a guide and check with your teacher.
