How to use this calculator
- Enter how many people live at home and a daily use per person.
- Use your bill to get the rate per cubic meter; add fixed charges if your rate leaves them out.
How it’s computed

Bill = cubic meters × rate + fixed charges.

Frequently asked questions
How much water does one person use a day?
Around 100 to 150 liters is common in Philippine homes with running water: bathing, flushing, cooking, laundry and cleaning. A 10-minute shower alone can use 60 to 100 liters.
How do I get my rate per cubic meter?
Sample rate only. Water tariffs are tiered and differ by provider; divide your bill’s total by the cubic meters used to get your all-in rate.
What is a cubic meter of water?
One thousand liters, about five drums or fifty 20-liter containers.
What goes in fixed charges?
Anything charged regardless of use, such as a meter maintenance fee or a minimum charge. If you used your bill’s all-in rate, leave this at zero.
