How to use this calculator
- Enter how much you’ll deposit each month and a dividend rate to assume.
- Choose compounded or annual payout. The yearly table appears below.
How it’s computed
Each year’s dividend = rate × (balance at the start of the year + the average of this year’s deposits).
A deposit in January earns a full year, one in December earns one month, so a year of equal monthly deposits earns as if 6.5 months’ worth sat there all year.
Compounded: the dividend is added to the balance. Annual payout: it’s paid to you and the balance holds deposits only.
Example
Saving ₱1,000.00 a month for 5 years at 7.12%:
- Deposits: ₱60,000.00.
- Compounded: ₱71,842.12 at maturity, ₱11,842.12 of it dividends.
- Annual payout: ₱10,858.00 in dividends over the years, plus your ₱60,000.00 back.
Frequently asked questions
What dividend rate should I use?
The latest declared rate is 7.12% for 2025 (Pag-IBIG Fund, declared 27 Feb 2026 (2024: 7.10%)). Rates are declared after each year ends and are not guaranteed, so try a lower rate for a cautious estimate.
Compounded or annual payout?
Compounded leaves dividends in the account so they earn dividends too, giving the bigger total at maturity. Annual payout sends dividends to you each year, which suits people who want regular income.
How much do I need to start?
The minimum is ₱500.00 per deposit, with no maximum. You need to be an active Pag-IBIG member, or a pensioner or former member under Pag-IBIG’s rules.
Are MP2 dividends taxed?
No. MP2 dividends are tax-free, so the projection is what you actually receive.
How exact is this projection?
It assumes equal monthly deposits and one dividend rate for every year. Pag-IBIG computes dividends on your actual balances, so your statement will differ a little.
