Each person pays₱1,250.00

How to use this calculator

  1. Enter what the group shares: fuel, tolls, parking, and any rental or driver’s fee.
  2. Count everyone in the vehicle, decide if the driver chips in, and pick how to round.

How it’s computed

Share = (fuel + tolls + parking + rental) ÷ people paying.

People paying = everyone, or everyone except the driver. Each share is then rounded up to the amount you pick.

Example

Five people share ₱5,000.00 in fuel, tolls and parking. The driver rides free.

  • ₱5,000.00 ÷ 4 passengers = ₱1,250.00.
  • Rounded up to the nearest ₱10, each pays ₱1,250.00, leaving ₱0.00 extra.

Frequently asked questions

Should the driver pay a share?

It’s up to the group. Many barkadas let the driver ride free since they bring the car and do the driving. Untick the box to split the cost among passengers only.

Why round up the share?

Collecting ₱1,000 from everyone is easier than ₱987.50. The small extra can cover a snack stop or the next toll top-up.

What about wear and tear on the car?

Add an amount under vehicle fee if the owner wants something for tires, oil and maintenance. A common rule of thumb is a few pesos per kilometer.
